These are part of modern day teaching and a game that has to be played.......

Be comforted though that from recent history not many of them last very long before they are replaced. Some don't even get started before they are dropped.

It is worth keeping a notebook of initiatives from the beginning of your career as later on you will be able to look back to when something 'new' was previously done.

Try to keep up with ofsted requirements as it is by these standards that you will be judged. The largest problem is knowing what the latest requirements are as they change rapidly. Your professional tutor is a good place to start.
